  13. There is a new network starting up in the UK. Its called MAXsNET II 
  14. (original huh?? ;) ) - apparently this has occured because
  15.  
  16. 1) people didnt want to contribute a few UKP each year to those BBSs
  17. (such as mine) that got email from Australia <-> UK
  18.  
  19. 2) Some people think all the MAXsBBS doors that are available all come
  20. from the UK
  21.  
  22. 3) some people wanted a UK only network with no foreigners
  23.  
  24. 4) some people thought it would be cool to start their own net
  25.  
  26.  
  27. now, whilst i will not knock this effort i want to point out a few
  28. things
  29.  
  30. 1) if you are so tight, will you really poll each other enough times in
  31. a week to ensure a good service?
  32.  
  33. 2 & 3) If you want to support DOORs makers, they DO come from other
  34. countries....and since the development team for MAXsBBS is now active in
  35. australia, wouldnt it be in your best interests to keep MAxsNET alive?

  40. now, i WILL be polling for MAXsNET II some time in the future - but i am
  41. hoping that i can send the packets down to australia - where they would
  42. want to read them too! :) :)
